I'm Gabriel Edward A. Besmonte, an Electrical Engineering student at UP Diliman and founder of NFCNexus. I specialize in creating accessible technology for Philippine businesses and schools.

As the Founder of NFCNexus and Lead Developer for organizations like the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and PCCI New Marikina, I am an end-to-end Full-Stack Software Engineer who translates entrepreneurial vision into scalable architecture. My expertise covers the complete development lifecycle, utilizing a stack of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to engineer applications in React, Next.js, Angular, and Node.js. I architect backend systems and data models using RESTful APIs, payment gateways (Paynamics and Maya), and both SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Beyond application code, I manage DevOps and infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, cloud deployments, and network architecture. I've built asset management tools for UP Diliman and Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) for impoverished communities designed to make technology accessible and transformative for Philippine communities.

Before building software full-time, I worked as a photographer and videographer across private events, parties, UP Engineering Radio Guild (UP ERG) organization events at UP Diliman's Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI), and flag-football tournaments I helped host. Moving between intimate rooms, campus communities, and fast-paced sports shaped how I tell stories, direct attention, and design experiences today.
